💼 Responsibilities:
- Being a Solution Architect within the IT Strategy Planning and Architecture Division of the Information Management and Technology Directorate, I am responsible for the delivery of architecture services, leading the design of business applications, working collaboratively with other IT and Business teams to deliver solutions, ensuring their alignment to the organization’s strategy.
- Work on Information Security and Technology projects, contributing business application architecture knowledge to those designs.
- Guide cloud (MS Azure) adaptation.
- Liaise closely with Enterprise Architects and Data Architects to help develop enterprise solutions.
- Deliver architecture outcomes (solution architecture, architecture design, architecture repositories, models and diagrams, architecture documentation, and presentations) in complex project and organizational environments and design governance processes.
- Manage all architecture artifacts in Sparx Enterprise Architect: map functional requirements, perform architecture modeling of objects, design the deployment model, and detail the deliverable components.
- Establish and advocate a unified communication toolkit for enterprise architecture (Enterprise Architect Sparx).
- Create architectural designs that leverage the XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) framework to ensure compliance with the EU’s Electronic Reporting Formats (ERF) and other relevant standards.
- Solution Validation. Ensure the designed solutions meet the specific compliance requirements of the EU market, including alignment with any changing regulations or directives.
- Vendor Assessment: Evaluate and select third-party tools or solutions that might be beneficial for the project or organization.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the design or implementation of solutions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
